About The Frother’s Daughter
Coffee shop specializing in dessert-style coffee and serves local pastries. We like to put a fun and flavorful spin on our drinks but can also stick to the classics if that’s what you like! We’re here to help serve you something you love.
The Frother’s Daughter is a coffee shop in Tallahassee, Florida. It is listed at 1000 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303, which places it among the local businesses of Tallahassee that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is thefrothersdaughter.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 81 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Tallahassee and suggests consistent service.
Tallahassee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tallahassee follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

MY FAVORITE CHAI LATTE EVER (I would totally buy their chai concentrate if I could) They have a super fun seasonal menu with drinks that are totally worth ordering! Super cute cafe and a great rotation of drinks. I will always be stopping by whenever I am in Tallahassee!

Eclectic, one off small shop in a really cool old building with a creative list of freshly prepared coffee choices. Got the raspberry mocha which tasted great but unfortunately came out not very hot. Oh well it was a neat little visit anyway and I would definitely stop back and try something else. The staff was super friendly. The place closes by 2:00 so get there early.

Always busy, but for the best reasons! The coffee is delicious (thanks Lucky Goat!) and I love their creative specialty drinks. I’ve never had something that disappointed me! The employees are very sweet and good at what they do. There is a small seating area for studying/chatting too!

After many years and countless coffees, I can't believe I've never written a review for my favorite local coffee shop!! Everything I've ever gotten from The Frother's Daughter has been nothing short of amazingly delicious. It's such a special treat, that I don't mind "splurging" on, to support a small local business! Their customer service is great as well, and they even made me a free replacement drink when I dropped my completely full latte one time. My favorite time of year is during the summer when they park at my office building downtown once a week, and I get my fix every Thursday. Otherwise, a quick trip to their adorable midtown shop is always an easy visit. Obviously it's my favorite local coffee shop! *Update* one of my favorite things is the special lattes and drinks they do for special events, such as Taylor Swift album release days!
